Full Description

Enjoy a guided tour Ronda and learn about Setenil de las Bodegas, which is built directly into the rocky cliffs.

The tour will begin with a wealth of contrasts: fields of crops, valleys, hillsides and typical white villages.

From Cuevas del Becerro we will venture into the province of Cadiz, to discover one of its prettiest villages: Setenil de las Bodegas, which is famous for having many of its houses built into the rock, and known locally as "shelter under the rock". Approximate duration of the walk: 45 minutes. 45 minutes.

Next we will return to the province of Malaga to visit Ronda, where we will take a walk through the Alameda gardens and the balconies overlooking the Tagus river, passing by the Bullring, one of the oldest in Spain.

The tour continues with some time for a typical aperitif at one of the town's most prestigious bars.

We will cross the New Bridge, with its spectacular views over the Tagus river (El Tajo), until we reach the Medina, or old Moorish quarter, with its narrow streets and little squares, where we will visit a 19th-century Palatial Home.

Lastly, we will delve into the heart of the old town, the Plaza Duquesa de Parcent square, where the Church of Santa María la Mayor and the Town Hall are located, among other emblematic buildings. Approximate duration of the tour: 2 hours).

We will return to the market area, where we will have Free Time for lunch and shopping.

"Did both Alahambra and Ronda trips, guides excellent on both. Rain on both pick up days meant it was difficult to identify correct trip bus due to multiple buses arriving, suggest putting venues and operator names on buses to help identify correct one"

"Excellent tour!! Had a really good day visiting two Andalucian Town. Setenil is a hidden gem. A tiny town but in an outstanding location. You wont see anything like it anywhere else. Ronda blew me away. Beautiful old and new town. Parts of it seemed frozen in time. And that bridge!! After the tour around town you have around two hours to wander around. I'd recommend to go down the path to see the bridge from below and then go visit the secret mine and Arab baths. Highly recommended. "

"easy to book with your website. Tour guide was friendly but hard to understand, and we heard EVERYTHING from humming, grunting to one-to-one chatting in another language. Best is mic was turned off and remembering they are using a mic. have the 3 languages was confusing at times. Would have preferred that the narration did not go over the bus speakers so we could take out ear pieces sometimes"
