"Let's start by saying I felt we were taking a local bus since when we got to the towns east of malaga we stopped every few blocks to pick up someone. In Malaga we were directed to a central point for pick up. On the way back the driver wanted to drop us at a location different than pick up and further away from center of town. Once in Gibraltar we went to the caves and nature reserve. Our driver there was very good. Gibraltar itself is nothing more than jewelry stores. No name clothing brands or shoes. Our “guide†Peggy was just someone who made sure we got it right at customs, which anyone could have done on their own. The advantage for me rather than driving myself was getting out of Malaga. My recommendation, if you are familiar with the bus system is to do it alone."
"We were first on at Malaga and it took forever to pick up. I really think picking people up at central points instead of hotels would be easier (this happened on way back to Malaga). The bus had real difficulty turning at some of the hotels. Elizabeth the guide was fantastic explaining in different languages landmarks and information. Driver did fantastic job. Gibraltar well worth seeing and recommend tour to caves."
"Brilliant tour. Perfect timing and very well organised. Guides very good. Maybe a coffee/toilet break en route would be nice."
"This trip was great! Organization was perfect - everything on time, transportation very comfortable and smooth, staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend! Thank you for awesome trip :)"
"Deberían prestar mas atención a los turistas de habla hispana. El guía hablaba un español poco entendible"
"Excelente tour, La diectora del tour Sol, fue muy amigable, profesional con mucho conocimiento acerca del Peñon de Gibraltar. Definitivamente recomendamos Malaga Trips ."
"La excursión estuvo muy bien. Lástima que el tiempo estaba nublado y eso no permitió apreciar al 100% las vistas "
"Very kind and funny guide and especially the driver on the rock tour was a nice guy! ☺ "
"Great guide who was very knowledgeable. However I would have preferred to go on the guided tour first and then have free time instead of an hour either side of the tour so you could shop and eat without rushing. Also think 20 minutes to go in the cave and see the monkeys outside was again very rushed. "
"Bella escursione, abbiamo visto tutto ciò che era stato promesso. Brava la guida. Consiglio un golfino per vedere punta Europa! Non do 5 stelle solo perché abbiamo fatto troppe fermate e il viaggio è diventato lunghissimo (più di 3 ore), soprattutto se paragonato alla durata della visita che dura un'ora e mezza, di cui solo 20 minuti alle grotte e con le scimmie. In ogni caso la consiglio. "
"Perfect trip "
"The tour guides were very friendly and funny and told us many interesting facts."
"If you take this tour from Malaga you should be aware that there will be a lot of pick up / drop off points. This means you will have a bus travel time of at least three hours each way. In addition to that expect further waiting time on the Gibraltar border (in our case another half hour - could even be much longer according to the guide). The tour itself is well organised, good bus and the Rock tour (with a local guide on a minibus) was good fun."
"La excursión fue muy agradable. Los sitios que visitamos fueron fasinantes y tuvimos tiempo de pasear y hacer compras. Los guías que tuvimos fueron excelentes y muy pacientes.Lo único malo es que al ser un grupo grande y al estar todo cronometrado no tenes tiempo de quedarte a observar detenidamente la vista. A pesar de eso ss una excursión que recomendaría definitivamente! "
"Good planning..bus on time..a little too long time oon the road to Gibraltar..need to make at least 1 sstop for bathroom..a little to short time for doing sightseeing."
"poor quality of the trip, especially the rock trip by minibus"
"Great tour of Gibraltar, well organized. Thanks to our guide, Mr. Juan, very helpful, multi-language spoken (also Italian!). "
"Entire trip was very badly organised. People were picked up from all posible places so the road to Gibraltar took forever. The tour guide spoke 3 languages but wasn't very helpful. He didn't even count people in the bus and almost left one person on the parking spot. If you are interested in seeing monkeys t is not worth to go to St. Michael's Caves which is very commercial. It is better to stay on track to the top of mountain. Gibraltar is very well located so views from the top are amazing."
"The Malaga Trips website was excellent! Easy to understand and contained adequate information made it easy to do the booking. The bus was on time. Good! The bus was new and comfortable. For us going from Malaga City the bus trip was too long with far too many stops to pick up other participants. At the arrival in Gibraltar we got about 1 hour before and 1 hour after the minibus trip as "free time on our own". Hardly time to do anything. And during a whole day one really do need to have a meal, but that was difficult to have time for. The minibus trip was kind of breathless, with far to short time on the two "photo stops" provided. The minibus driver, however, was, friendly, humorous, knowledgeable and was providing us with a lot of interesting information about Gibraltar. "
"Everything was great beside a time to spend aroun a rock. Nit enough time to have a short walk. Another disappointment was that trip doesn’t give a choice to use a cable car to go to the top view point. We arrived after 10.30 . The time when mini bus trip begun was around 12 then after 3 pm we had to go back to the bus. It was definitely not enough time . "
"everything was just fine"
"Great day,bus arrived right on time and tour guide was incredibly helpful, highly recommend!"
"Very nice and funny guide (Peggy (?))"
"We needed a day trip to Gibraltar and Malaga Trips delivered. The bus was comfortable and the guide was impressive with his language skills. We researched different options and chose this company. The bus trip was almost 3 hours there and about 2.5 coming back. I wish we had had more time with the monkeys and just enjoying the stops or points of interests. The local bus we transfer to while in Gibraltar had a very knowledgeable escort. He pointed out many interesting facts and sights, but there was not time to stop and really look at the sights. My kids did like the monkeys...they were fun."
"The guide for English language on the 10th of August was really great. Congrats!"
"Easy to use website, very good tour guides and a lot cheaper than other excursion companies "
"Very nice trip, well organized and entertaining. Thank you!"
"Personale professionale, molto disponibili. Guide preparate per tutte le lingue, davvero una bellissima giornata!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I was collected from Malaga and after reading the informative reviews I knew exactly what to expect and planned my visit accordingly. When I reached Gibraltar I used my time wisely and headed for the cable car which provided panoramic views and photo opportunities with the Mumma and baby Monkeys. When I came down I still had time for duty free shopping. The local English tour guide provided the rest. I came away very satisfied and happy to have read both positive and negative reviews so that i could plan my visit to my best advantage. Well worth going by your bus!"
"The trip starts too late. With more than 40 stops to pick up passengers at their hotels, 3 hours of wasted time means less time to spend in Gibraltar. Had the overall trip started at 0700, there may have been more time for people to take the cable to the top of the rock after the mini-bus tour portion of the trip was finished. The mini-bus trip to the St Michaels cave was over crowded and the bus was packed, meaning more wait time for people getting in/out of the bus. The driver only gave us 5 minutes for pictures at certain stops, so everyone was rushed to take photos. Only 20 minutes was given for the St Michaels cave tour and no time to buy anything from the shop there. Free time was only 2 1/2 hours, which is hardly enough time to eat, shop and see other sites. I wanted to see the cemetery but there was no time. I think if your company wants to improve their tours, you need to make a central location for pick-ups in every town that you stop, to avoid 20 minutes per stop at 40 different hotels, because people just do not care if they are slow and have no sense of urgency, they only care about themselves and care less that an entire bus load of people are waiting on them to board, yet they stand outside smoking and could care less about the other passengers. its ridiculous to spend 6 hours in the bus for pick ups and drop offs and 3 hours total time in Gibraltar. The tour sucked and I would not recommend your company to anyone. Also, I was informed I had to change buses at the end of the tour because I was going back to Malaga...they could have said something at the beginning of the trip. "
"I did really enjoy the trip to Gibraltar that I attended on Monday 12 June 2017. Our onboard guide, Elizabeth, spoke fluently in five languages: English, German, Castillano, French and Italian and provided us with a range of interesting facts about Gibraltar when we were travelling from Malaga to our destination. Our local guide in Gibraltar was very knowledgeable and shared with us an abundance of information about this interesting place. I really liked the anegdotes he told us during the one and a half our trip showing the most interesting places in Gibraltar. I think it would have been a good idea to have not 3 hours, but 6 hours or so of free time during the trip. Three hours passed very quickly. Summarizing, the trip was very well organized."
"Please get a better bus for these trips, there wasn't even a tray for food available. Please credit me on Instagram @lindaaa3000 if you use my photo."
"Excellent day trip to Gibraltar. Friendly and knowlegeable guides who added to the day. A small glitch with the online booking system was quickly addressed and we were able to book the entire day from my smart phone while on holiday. Excellent service. "
"the trip is really great , the only minus is that there were too many stops to pick up people long travel "
"Excellent tour operator"
"It was 1st time for me to Gibraltar and i had an amazing experience. The tour is absolutely interesting and the time is organized in a very good way. Special thanks also to Joel, the tour leader, very kind and helpful, and to Alex, the guide in Gibraltar : i had good time with you :) Thanks"
"A fabulous day out packed with things to see and do. Great guides that were incredibly informative."
"Very good organiced trip. A lot to see and very helpful staff. I booked online and everything went perfect"
"Everything was amazing, from beginning to the end. Most likes for the guide, David."
"David the tour guide is a stud. He picked me up in his personal car brought me to the bus. The problem I had with the tour is I was the first one on the bus in the ladt one off because they had to pick up everyone at each hotel/timeshare. It would've been easier for me to take a bus directly to the Gibraltar border and walk across it. Time is very limited because of all the people that need it picked up. More drive time tour time."
"There was to many stops at the way to Gibraltar. That took a long time for us who travelled from Malaga."
"This trip was amazing. We recomended it, but it has one disadvantage there was not enough time for view in Europe point."
"The tour combines a 3-1/2 hour bus trip with multiple stops to pick up passengers, with a 1-1/2 hour fast-track tour of Gibraltar with highlights stops, a 3 hour time slot for on-your-own time followed by a 3+ hour return bus trip. The tour itself was fine and as advertised, seemingly very similar to other tour companies. The bus trip times were excessive and we were not expecting that. Perhaps there are better options to figure out the transportation; the Malaga participants appreciated getting the final return leg separately. The tour guide on the bus did a nice job of explaining each step and providing information on the way."
"The only disappointment was the long time picking up clients en route. Two thirds of the journey time was taken up collecting clients from their hotels. "
"very pleased with the guides, very informative, felt safe with the driver, good day out!"
"An interesting trip with many new historical information for us. We could see the two different points of view the Spanish and the English one. The apes are delicious. The local tour should be a little more detailled with more stops."
"Very good service and nice guide"
"Its was well organised great trip. Bus was on time very nice crew. Would highly recomend this trip. Well done Thanks again for a great time and experience! "
"A quick way to make a daytrip to Gibraltar from Malaga. Very good guide tour in Gibraltar."
"Overall the tour was good, but I was very disappointed that the mini-bus driver/guide in Gibraltar spoke NO English -- not acceptable."
"I really enjoyed the trip. The bus was very punctual and confortable, although the trip was a little long because we picked up lots of passengers. The guide was very good too, he spoke 5 languages."
"We could have more time at the stops in Gibraltar, when we went up to the rock tour. Just 5-5 more minutes would have been great at each stop."
